The Difference Is Real

Not Craft Resin.
A Professional Clear Coat System.

Cheap Craft Resins

  • Yellows within 6–12 months
  • Trapped bubbles in finished surface
  • Uneven self-leveling — runs and ridges
  • Weak scratch and chemical resistance
  • Cloudy or hazy cure over time
  • No technical support when things go wrong
Temporary solution

Simple Application

Mix. Pour. Level. Cure.

Easy enough for first-time DIYers. Clean enough for professional builds. Walk-through below takes you from raw wood to glass-top finish.

1

Prep + Seal Surface

Sand, clean, and dry the surface completely. For porous wood, apply a thin seal coat first — this prevents trapped air from escaping through the wood and creating bubbles in your finish coat.

Allow seal coat to cure before flood coat
2

Mix Part A + Part B

Combine at the exact ratio on the label. Mix thoroughly for 3–5 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the container. Unmixed resin causes soft spots and will not cure correctly.

30–40 minute working time at 70°F
3

Pour + Spread

Pour mixed epoxy onto the center of the surface and spread outward with a foam roller or spreader. The self-leveling formula will flow to the edges — maintain a level surface during cure.

Work within pot life window
4

Release Bubbles

Within the first 15–20 minutes, pass a heat gun or propane torch quickly over the surface to pop any remaining bubbles. Keep 6–8 inches of distance and keep moving — do not dwell in one spot.

Within first 20 minutes
5

Cure + Finish

Cover loosely to keep dust off. Tack-free in 8–10 hours. Handle carefully after 24 hours. Maximum hardness and optical clarity at 72 hours. Full cure and peak gloss at 7 days.

72 hrs full cure · 7 days max gloss

"Used this on a live-edge walnut river table. The pour was perfect — self-leveled completely, bubbles came out clean with a torch pass. At 7 days it looks like glass."

Common Questions

Answered Before You Ask.

Can this be used on wood?

Yes. Wood should be clean, dry, and free of oils. Seal porous or end-grain wood with a thin seal coat first — allow it to cure before applying the flood coat. This prevents air escaping from the wood and creating bubbles in your finish.

Is this for deep casting or thin pour?

This product is formulated for thin-pour surface coatings — standard flood coat thickness is up to 1/4" per layer. For deep river table fills deeper than 1/4", you need a deep-pour casting resin. For the clear surface topcoat over a deep pour, this product is ideal.

How do I get a bubble-free finish?

Three steps: (1) Seal porous surfaces first. (2) Mix slowly and thoroughly — avoid whipping air into the resin. (3) Within 15–20 minutes of pouring, pass a heat gun or propane torch 6–8" above the surface in a continuous moving sweep. The surface tension breaks and bubbles pop cleanly.

Will it yellow over time?

Our formula includes UV stabilizers that resist yellowing from ambient light exposure. For surfaces in direct sunlight, we recommend applying a UV-protective clear topcoat after full cure. Interior table tops and bar tops will maintain clarity for years under normal conditions.

How many coats do I need?

For most table tops and bar tops, one flood coat at standard thickness is sufficient. For surfaces with voids, deep grain, or decorative elements to encapsulate, apply a thin seal coat first, let it cure, then apply the flood coat on top.

Can I add color to this resin?

Yes. Our Mica Powders mix directly into Part A before combining with Part B — creating metallic and pearlescent effects. Our Epoxy Color Paste creates solid opaque color. Both are fully compatible with this resin system.
